If the pump doesn't run for about 3 seconds when you cycle the key on, then you need to find out why. Sometimes it's just a faulty relay or a bad connection. If the pump is getting power but still don't spool up when you cycle the key, then the pump is bad.It sounds like you still might not be getting enough power to start the machine. If you have a charger, hook it up to the battery and turn it on and try to start it again. If it starts, you still have a weak battery. If you do then you know your ignition is working. If you do have a spark then pour some gas down the cylander and put back plug and see if it fires.towed ranger back to the house and checked the codes which showed 51 and 52. looked under the hood at the ECM and found that three of the wires had burnt out two on one connector and one on the other. And if it is working it is possible that you have missing tooth/teeth on your flywheel and the starter cannot turn over the engine because of that.
